January 2025 progress report
No December update?!
Nope. No December update. But there is one for January, and it's a good one.
Also yes, I updated the post. Anyways, there isn't much and I'll keep it short and sweet, but work has been going steady and quick and it's about time I share some parts of it...



When it comes to mapping, I'm making sure to experiment with all kinds of visual scenes so the world doesn't become too formulaic, but consistent enough that maps feel like they're a part of that world. It took me a while to get the hang of city maps, but after enough practice, they're coming along nicely.
Characters on the other hand, have been a huge challenge to write but were worth the hassle. I can't spoil too much but I made the best effort to make them stand out through their own mannerisms and speaking styles.


On the mechanical side, designing battles has been a very, very fun process.
I've also been making new animations, as well as overhauling some old ones that needed a fresh touch of "oomph". I can't wait to show them!
Now I can't promise too much on this part, but hopefully I can keep these posts coming on a monthly basis. But do look forward for some of the juicier news that I have in the works for upcoming posts. Thanks for reading!
